My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pickles lives up to her name in the best way possible. This cucumber loving queen is the chatterbox of the pair and proudly announces the arrival of bell peppers, lettuce, or even the slightest crinkle of a treat bag with enthusiastic wheeks. If snacks are involved, Pickles is the spokesperson.

She is also a certified butt scratch enthusiast. Hit the right spot and she melts into a full sploot, purring contentedly and stretching out in total bliss. It is almost enough to distract her from her beloved hay flowers. Almost.

Pickles loves to swap houses with her sister each day, keeping things fresh and interesting. During playtime she zooms through their plastic cat tunnel like it is her personal racetrack, often leading the charge. Friendly, curious, and social, she is always first to greet you at the side of the cage. While she can be a little shy about being picked up, once wrapped in a cozy towel and settled against your chest, she relaxes into the sweetest cuddle buddy.

More about this rescue

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
