Meet Hannya Hannya is a beautiful 4-year-old **Boa imperator** who is officially ready to hang up her “educational ambassador” badge and settle into retirement with a family of her own. For the past few years, Hannya has been working as an educational animal with the rescue, helping people learn just how incredible and misunderstood boas can be. Now, it’s her turn to be spoiled Hannya is calm, confident, and very easy to handle. She is accustomed to being worked with and does wonderfully outside of feeding times (like most boas, she takes her meals seriously!). She is currently eating **large frozen/thawed rats** consistently and with enthusiasm. As a growing, powerful species, Hannya will need a **large, secure enclosure** — at minimum **6 feet long by 4 feet deep** — with plenty of sturdy climbing opportunities and hides to help her feel safe and enriched. She would thrive in a home that understands the needs of larger boas and is excited to provide her with a spacious, enriching setup. Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
