*COME MEET SUNNY AT OUR ADOPTION EVENT ON FEB 21 FROM 12-2pm AT PET SUPPLIES PLUS IN ROSEVILLE*
It's an uncharacteristically temperate evening for the beginning of February in Minnesota. A man exits Sun World Supermarket in St Paul, groceries in hand, and sets off to walk home. While crossing the parking lot, a soft "mew" catches his attention. He turns and sees an ink black kitten as dark as the moonlit night, trotting after him. The kitten follows him for a block. Then another block. Then another. The kitten deftly skirts around puddles of melting snow, bravely passes by homes with barking dogs, and cautiously crosses every intersection - all the while keeping pace with the man. The man arrives home with the kitten on his heels, and knows now that without a doubt, the kitten has followed him nearly a mile home, so he could save her.
That kitten is now named Sunny and continues to be simply the sweetest little pea out there! Sunny is a 5–6 month old darling with a heart as golden as her name. Deeply affectionate and surprisingly serene for a kitten, she has approached every new experience in her foster home with quiet confidence and grace. She made fast friends with the resident adult cats and is steadily finding her courage around the big dogs — though an enthusiastic bark can still give her pause.
Sunny delights in life’s simple pleasures: crinkle balls that crackle beneath her paws, springs that easily scoot across a wood floor, ribbons that flutter and dance, and interactive toys that invite her to pounce and play. When the day winds down, she transforms into the ultimate cuddle companion, happily joining her humans for cozy couch naps.
At bedtime, Sunny prefers to be as close as possible — curled sweetly beside your face or draped like the gentlest scarf around your neck. With her sleek, silken coat and tender, loving spirit, she is truly a special little cat, ready to be cherished and adored in a forever home of her own.
Kittens do so much better in pairs, socially and developmentally! They have a playmate and cuddle buddy, even when their humans are gone. For this reason, our rescue does not adopt out single kittens, to homes without another YOUNG cat(s).

Sunny is fully vetted as follows: Spayed, FVRCP vaccine series, rabies vaccinated, Feline Luekemia/FIV tested negative, fecal tested negative, microchipped with lifetime registration.
