My name is El!

El and her son Hopper were lucky enough to be taken in by a lovely couple in Memphis; they were together out in the cold, and like many dogs in Memphis, were homeless and strays - she was protecting her puppy for sure.

The fosters (their rescuers) reached out to Paws New England to see if we had room. How could we say no to them? Many people do not pay attention to the dogs there who desperately need help.

The dogs were found at the beginning of January, and have since moved indoors where it's warm and cozy. They adjusted well to indoor living and to living with cats. The puppy was recently adopted by a loving family member, and now El is enjoying lots of quality puppy-chaos-free time napping and relaxing. The fosters say she is very calm and will make a family very happy!

El is fantastic with cats - like really does well and we have the photos and videos to prove it!

She's a very lovely dog, calm, super easy to handle. She's happy to get some exercise in and then take some time out.

While she's only lived with her puppy (who is now adopted), her foster dad says she does quite well meeting dogs outside and doesn't seem to have any issues in that department.
