Zara is a quiet, sweet tortie girl with silky soft fur. She is shy at first but comes out of her shell quickly if you talk to her and pet her. She was returned after being adopted 4 years ago, through no fault of her own, as her owner decided to move out of the country. She likes to play with any type of wand toy. Her favorite napping place is on a cat scratching tree with round cubbies in which to curl up. She was housed with another male cat, so she most likely will be okay with another non-dominate cat. She can panic if picked up and held if she is scared or unsure of new surroundings, but given time to adjust and trust you, she relaxes and can be held.
