Hettie is a sweet girl with the perfect mix of playful and polite!
She has four brothers and sisters that she absolutely loves to romp around with. She’s also had the benefit of learning from an older house cat who has taught her all the important “cat rules” — and she’s been a wonderful student!
Hettie currently lives with two medium-sized dogs. While she doesn’t play with them, she’s perfectly comfortable sharing her space and doesn’t mind them at all.
One of the most impressive things about Hettie? She is incredibly respectful of her surroundings. She leaves plants alone and doesn’t even get on the counters — yes, really! 🌿✨
She can be a little shy at first, but she’s easily won over with treats and wet cat food. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality really shines.
If you’re looking for a gentle, well-mannered girl who just needs a little patience (and maybe a few tasty bribes 😉), Hettie could be your perfect match.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)
All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.
We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.
Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs
Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.
Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
Adoption Requirements
To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:
• A completed adoption application
• A home visit
