We have had Odin for five years. While we love him, we acknowledge he would be happier in a different home. Odin is an absolutely beautiful 8-year-old neutered gray medium hair male cat. He is very health (perfect labs), litter-box trained, and very VERY smart. Odin has some dog-like tendencies, such as sitting for his food, coming when called, and fetching hairties. He is an excellent mouser and enjoys spending time outdoors during the day. Odin doesn't mind being picked up. He loves a laser pointer and doesn't mind his head/chin rubbed and some back rubs. He is not a lap cat but will set near on couch. Odin can become overstimulated with too much petting or loud noises. He occasionally transitions into hunter mode if bothered or super hungry. Odin needs a quiet home without female cats (he did ok if male cats present first). He would thrive with someone who appreciates independent cats and allows some outdoors. Though our home is not a great fit, we hope to find him a home that is.
