My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jolene! 💕 Jolene is a 12-week-old Heeler/Shepherd mix with the most charming, expressive face and ears that always seem to be listening for her next adventure. She has that perfect puppy look—alert, curious, and full of personality—with a sweetness that shines the moment she locks eyes with you.
Jolene is an outgoing, affectionate girl who loves being around people and soaking up all the attention she can get. She has a confident, happy personality and is always eager to engage with her humans.
She’s incredibly smart and truly wants to please, making her a joy to be around. Jolene does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she already knows how to sit on command.
Jolene is kennel trained and has had no accidents in her kennel, showing excellent routine awareness and reliability. She’s a well-rounded pup who thrives on connection, structure, and praise.
She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and in search of her forever home. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented dog who’s ready to be your shadow and your best friend, Jolene could be the perfect fit. ❤️RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email:

More about this rescue

We are a organization that takes pets from dire situations and make them ready for a loving family home in the north. We go to areas where pets have been abandon and left to fend for themselves. Our goal is to have each pet altered so they can not bring forth more unneeded litters.
