My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moondancer — Hound Mix (Male, ~4 Years Old, 39 lbs)

Moondancer is a 39-pound bundle of joy with a striking black and brindle coat and the cutest little white paws that look like he’s wearing socks. At approximately four years old, he’s the perfect mix of playful explorer and devoted cuddle buddy.

This sweet, high-energy boy loves to stay active and would be thrilled with a family who enjoys walks, adventures, and outdoor time. After he’s had a chance to explore, Moondancer’s favorite place is right next to his human — leaning in, snuggling close, and soaking up affection. He’s people-focused and thrives on companionship.

Moondancer does well with other dogs and cats. He may be a little too rambunctious with smaller children. His friendly, loving nature makes him a wonderful candidate for both active individuals and families alike.

Moondancer’s Highlights:
• Hound mix, ~4 years old, 39 lbs
• Handsome black & brindle coat with white “sock” paws
• High energy and loves to explore
• Very affectionate and people-oriented
• Great with dogs, cats, and children
• Big snuggler and loyal companion

Moondancer is ready to dance his way into a forever home where he can stay close to his people and share his happy, loving heart. Apply to meet him today!

IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION

The dog you are considering is located in South Mississippi, with transport available (for an additional fee) to approved adopters in the Northeast. Virtual meet-and-greets are performed prior to adoption.

Completing an application is the only way to receive a response from our small rescue team.
