(DOB 12/31/2023) Boone is heartworm positive. Do not let this from stopping you from adopting him, our rescue will cover the expenses for when it is time. And don't worry, our rescue will guide you through the process. He is available for adoption within a 1-hour radius of Wake Forest, NC so he can receive his treatment.
Boone is the kind of dog who just gets it. He’s intelligent, mellow, and incredibly loving, making him a joy to have around the house. Most days, he’s happy to relax by your side or simply enjoy your company. But every now and then, he surprises you with joyful zoomies that show off his playful, lighthearted side. He is a young adult sweetheart with a gentle soul and a quietly charming personality.
He’s friendly and loyal, getting along beautifully with other dogs and cats. Boone appears to be house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is working on his basic cues like sit, down, and wait. With a family willing to continue that positive reinforcement and guidance, he’s going to blossom into an exceptional companion. You may have noticed in his pictures he is a one-eyed wonder. It doesn't slow him down one bit!
If you’re looking for a sweet, steady, and loving best friend with just the right sprinkle of playful fun, Boone may be your perfect match.
As part of Boone's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
