Name: Vanilla
Current location:S.Korea

Weight: 35 lb (16 kg)
Age: 1 year (18 months)
Sex: Female
Spayed: Yes
Medical: Very healthy, no history of minor illnesses
Breed: Jindo Mix

Personality
Vanilla is a shy but extremely gentle and sweet dog.
She is very affectionate and loves cuddling—when called, she will happily climb onto her guardian’s lap.
She is obedient, calm, and easygoing, with no stubbornness or excessive barking.
Socialization
With Women:
She tends to prefer women. Around unfamiliar people, she may tremble due to fear but does not bark.
With Men:
As her primary guardian is female, she has had limited experience with men. However, if approached slowly and gently, she warms up over time.
With Children:
She has limited experience, except for meeting a friend’s young daughter when she was a puppy.
With Other Dogs:
She generally gets along well with dogs of similar age, but may occasionally have minor conflicts with other female dogs.
With Cats:
No direct experience with cats. She becomes excited when seeing stray cats in the neighborhood.
Training & Habits
House-trained: Yes (uses both outdoor potty and indoor pee pads for urination)
Crate-trained: Yes
Energy Level: 4/5
Handling: Can be handled by her primary guardian (nail trimming, tooth brushing, bathing all possible)
Barking: Very quiet; only occasional barking when strangers enter the yard
Escape Tendencies: When strangers visit the home, she tends to hide in her crate rather than try to escape
Appetite: Eats well
Current Diet: Dry kibble, cooked meals, and raw food
Leash Walking: Walks well on a leash
Leash Reactivity: Limited experience; may growl at unfamiliar dogs
Car Rides: Does well in the car
Destructive Behavior: Likes tearing paper or cushions, so items should be kept out of reach
Home Environment

Other Dogs in Home: Preferably the only dog
Apartment Living: Suitable
Rescue Story
Vanilla was rescued as one of six puppies born to a stray mother dog who repeatedly gave birth in a rural village.
She has been fostered in a home environment since she was 2 months old.

Post-Adoption Support and Check-Ins
After your dog has settled in, we will periodically check in with you to ensure the adjustment process is going smoothly. This is a time to discuss your dog’s progress and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Our team is always here to provide guidance as needed during the transition to your new life together.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we cannot provide the "meet and greet." Multiple video clips will be provided, and we will help you walk through the steps to reassure the adopted dog and the adopter are the best match for each other. Some dogs are available for meet and greet if the dogs are fostered in the US.
