Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello world, my name is Hank, and I'm looking for a home of my own. I'm two years old, and foster Mom says that I'm a red and white parti-colored boy. I also have a natural tail. I'm fully vetted and neutered, they tell me. Before I came to SOCKS, I didn't get out very much. Foster Mom says that now I've learned how to be a dog. I love to jump, run, and play with my foster siblings. I really would like to have real fur-siblings of my own. I ignore the cats in my foster home - they're boring. Oh, I like to sleep in the big bed, too. I need someone who will patiently work with me on my potty training. Foster Mom says that I'm still learning after living in a crate for so long. I love to take walks with foster Mom and human brother. Oh, I do like children. They're much more fun than cats. I do get in trouble for chewing my leash, so Foster Mom got me a metal leash. She says I probably started that habit because I was bored before. Did I mention that I L-O-V-E toys...the squeakier the better. Foster Mom has gotten me ones that are pretty tough to chew up. I have a couple of allergies, so my family will need to keep an eye on my skin. I get medicated baths on occasion. I love the pets, but not so much the soap and water. I came to SOCKS with "cocker ears", but they're all well now. Most of all, I want all of the love and attention that you can possibly give me, and I will love you (and lick you) forever.
**Please apply to adopt at www.saveourcockerspaniels.org**
SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama, and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references, and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
