Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birdie is a sweet and curious guy who enjoys cozy cat naps and lounging on sunny windowsills. He loves watching the world go by outside, especially the birds! Birdie has a heart for adventure, always in search of the next spot for a nap.
He shows affection through loving headbutts and calm companionship. He’s not a big fan of being picked up, and prefers his pets with all of his paws on the floor. That being said he likes to be with his people, and enjoys being in your presence! He can’t wait to find his new adventure in his next home.

We look forward to helping to match you with your new best friend and supporting you throughout the adoption process. AWS regularly cares for and houses dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and small animals. For most pets, adopters can drop-in during our open hours, without needing to schedule an appointment or fill out any paperwork in advance. For pets in foster care (as indicated on their profile), please call to schedule an appointment to meet the pet at AWS.
All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
