Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy — Orange Male Cat, ~2.5 years old, Boston MA
Teddy is a big, talkative, deeply affectionate orange cat looking for his person. Easily cared for with dry or wet food. Good with a litter box. Has been kept indoors only. Good with children that are patient with him. Very active. He is a certified doofus. He flops. He falls. It's endearing every single time.

We have had him since he was six months as a companion for our older Tabby. Unfortunately, he can be obsessively aggressive with any animals that he can bully, not bad enough to cause injury but it can be stressful to the other animals. This has built up to unhealthy stress for the other cat. He has not expressed this with adult or child humans. And I think he may get along well with a larger calm dog.

He can be a shy with strangers, but some churu and gentle care and talking with him and he bonds deeply - becoming extremely cuddly and interactive.

We love him a lot and think he would be great in a loving home.
