(Yes, the name fits. Yes, he is that big. Yes, he is that sweet.)
Meet Eeyore, a 98-pound Mastiff/Great Pyrenees mix with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart.
This big boy came in as a lost pet and sadly was never reclaimed. While shelter life isn’t exactly his vibe, he’s handling it the best way he knows how — by being quiet, observant, and just a little shy.
Eeyore may look like a small polar bear, but inside he’s basically a sensitive marshmallow. He can be a bit timid at first, especially in new situations, but he warms up with kind voices and patient people. Once he trusts you? You’ll see that sweet, soulful giant who just wants to be near his person.
At 98 pounds, he’s not exactly “lap dog” sized… but don’t tell him that. He would absolutely love a calm home where he can stretch out, feel safe, and finally exhale. With his guardian-breed roots, he’s likely to be loyal and devoted to his family — the kind of dog who quietly watches over his home and melts for his people.
Neutered male 98 pounds of gentle giant A little shy, very sweet Available for adoption now Adoption fee WAIVED
Eeyore has already experienced being lost. Let’s not let him feel that way again.
If you’ve got room in your home (and on your couch… and possibly your entire floor), come meet this tender-hearted big boy. He’s ready to belong.
