My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hal – our handsome 7-year-old domestic shorthair with a laid-back vibe and a surprisingly adventurous spirit. Hal is the definition of cool and collected… until you offer pets. Then he’s up in a flash, ready to soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. He absolutely loves affection and will happily lean into your hand for more. If you’re looking for a cat who enjoys companionship without being overly demanding, Hal strikes that perfect balance. Don’t let his relaxed demeanor fool you — this big boy loves to explore! Whether it’s investigating a new room, checking out a cozy nook, or supervising household activities, Hal is curious in the most charming way. Fun fact: according to his microchip, Hal was listed as a girl. That’s right — his whole life has been a lie! We did attempt to contact his previous owners using the chip information but received no response, so now he’s ready for a fresh start (with the correct pronouns!).Hal is larger than he first appears — a solid, handsome guy with plenty of love to give. He is also front paw declawed! If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, mellow explorer into your home, Hal is ready to meet you.
