Xander is sweet loving almost 7yo poodle. We adopted him from a reputable breeder. He loves people, walks, and above all, laps! He can be playful and energetic, but also likes to rest on his own. He loves hikes in the woods and has excellent recall. He knows basic commands including sit/stay/down/leave it. He is compliant with teeth brushing, vet visits, grooming and taking medications. He has lived with an adopted poodle sister for most of his life and they enjoy each others company. He can be less open to dogs he doesn't know but can warm up over time. He is not good at a dog park. Xander has significant food and and dust mite allergies and has dry eye disease (managed with drops). He needs a home that can manage his treatment plan (pills) and take him to vet appointments when needed. He is on a restricted diet. Pet insurance will transfer with him. It breaks our heart, but a human health issue is preventing us from keeping him. He will give lots of love in exchange for your care.
