Meet incredibly handsome Kylo, he is estimated to be about 4 years old and came to the rescue from a hoarding situation. He was initially very timid around us and took comfort in being around one of our other fosters. It took about a week for him to decompress before we started getting a slight tail wag and wanting to be pet. Kylo is crate trained, has good recall, is leery of cats, and is initially wary of other dogs, but given proper introductions he warms up quickly. He tends to freeze in position if his leash gets underneath his feet so somewhere in his past he may have been tied up. He walks well on a leash without pulling. He has just started to interact with toys and wanting to play. Kylo has continued to open up and his personality is beginning to show (see video) . He is a gentle boy and needs a secure home to call his own.
Kylo would do best in a quiet home with another confident dog to interact with. He needs someone to be patient with him until he developed trust in them.
