Meet Your New Favorite Ginger Queen! At 2 years old, this vibrant orange girl is packed with personality and proudly embraces her full “orange cat energy.” She’s incredibly smart, endlessly funny, and always keeps life interesting. She’s playful, curious, and just mischievous enough to make you laugh daily. Cabinets will be inspected. Toys will be conquered. Hair ties may mysteriously disappear. And let’s talk about her voice — because this girl has opinions! She’s wonderfully talkative and loves to chat about her day, ask questions, and remind you when it’s dinner time. If you’ve ever wanted a cat you can have actual conversations with, she’s your girl. She’s very social and loves people. She wants to be where you are — your little orange assistant, comedian, and supervisor all rolled into one. She prefers to be the only feline in charge and doesn’t seem to care for other cats. Dogs? She mostly ignores them like the confident queen she is. If you’re looking for a clever, affectionate, hilarious companion who will fill your home with personality (and commentary), this orange beauty is ready to move in and steal your heart.
Kate is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed , and litter box trained.

Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.

Approve Application
Our application checkers will review the information you submitted. This step takes approximately 5 business days.

You will be invited to meet with the pet, usually at one of our Saturday adoption events: https://www.arf-il.org/events/
Sign Adoption Contract
We’ll walk you through the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours!
