My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth: 1/24/2024 Meet Pippy Longstocking– The Sweetest Little Brown Tabby Girl! Looking for a new best friend who will fill your home with love and purrs? Pippy Longstocking is an adorable brown tabby with a heart as soft as her fur. Pippy Longstocking is a super friendly, affectionate little girl who loves being near her people. She adores long, gentle pets down her back and will happily be your little shadow around the house. She's playful, too! Pippy Longstocking enjoys laser toys, bouncy balls, and wand games, always ready to show off her playful side before curling up for some well-earned snuggle time. Pippy Longstocking should be ok with other cats with time and a proper introduction, and while she's still learning about dogs, she's curious and doesn't get overly stressed — just a few gentle swats at first! With time and patience, she'll likely make peace with canine companions, too. This sweet, social tabby is ready to find her forever loving home where she can share her affectionate personality and playful spirit. Pippy Longstocking's dream home: A family or individual who loves interactive play and cuddles Could be an only pet or live with other furry friends (with time to adjust) A safe, loving environment to call her own If you're looking for a friendly, playful, and loving companion, Pippy Longstocking is your girl! | Children: Unknown, but optimistic| Dogs: Optimistic with a slow introduction | Cats: Likes cats with a proper introduction || Health information: All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, preventatively dewormed, and microchipped. Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
