Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Want to meet the sweetest dog? This is him, Mr Chubs. The dog who was brought into a vet clinic to be euthanized because the owner didn't want to deal with his hypothyroidism. You know, a little pill once a month and give him the omegas (fish) to make sure he gets the pills his skin/hair needs. WHAT?! They were having none of it so they had her surrender this precious boy to the clinic where he has been for months. Once I met him, I knew he was coming back with me. Oh how precious he is! He lives to dance, scoot on his belly with his little bootie up in the air for pets and laughs. He seems to love everyone, including the cat. He keeps a clean kennel at the clinic and potties outside. He lives to be loved on and to give it in return 100 fold. He's fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, all the vaccines, has had a heartworm shot that's not sure again until April. Then he'll need monthly prevention or another shot. He needs monthly flea prevention, of course. If you'd like to adopt, you'll need to continue his thyroid meds and will need to have a grand vet reference. The adoption fee is $100 Apply at MadisonARF.org
