Cashin Out (Cash) is a sweet young tortie looking for a loving home. She was surrendered to SBZ after giving birth to 5 kittens. Her kittens have all found homes, and now it is time for Cash's chance at her forever home. Cash came to SBZ very timid and shy. She was eartipped in case her ideal home ended up being a barn, but we learned over the last few months that she has really enjoyed being in a home setting. Cash enjoys the company of other laid-back adult cats. She's a typical tortie with a dash of torti-tude, but she's as sweet as they come. She has been exposed to a small dog in her foster home, and she seems to be unphased by dogs as long as they are cat savvy. One of her favorite things to do with her humans is slow blink at them. She has enjoyed being around her foster mom while she works from home, and she slow blinks at her from afar, and then ends up wanting to be pet and loved on after her slow-blink sessions (with some treats as rewards of course!). She does tend to spook easily, so a home with no children or older children would be best. She enjoys all types of plush toys such as stuffed mice, crinkle toys, and she has been known to enjoy chasing a laser when she gets her bursts of energy in the evenings. She enjoys her wet food in the evenings also. Cash is still learning that being picked up is okay. She has been doing better in her foster home after being picked up at least once a day and then put back down. Her new owner will need to continue helping her get comfortable with being picked up. Dry treats have been a great tool for her as rewards after being picked up. Cash is gorgeous, sweet, and has a dash of sassiness in her (torti-tude). She deserves to be spoiled in a home where she can flourish and truly show her amazing personality. Please consider adding this sweet girl to your household.
