PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.

DR LEELA DEVI and her brother DR DEVON DAYALI were living in a rough area in San Jacinto, California. The nice man that found them was feeding them, until we were able to get them fixed and into the rescue.

Meet DR LEELA DEVI – The Sweet and Shy Turkish Van Who Needs a Loving Friend!

Are you looking for a sweet, gentle soul with the potential to bloom into a loving companion? DR LEELA DEVI, a beautiful Turkish Van female, is searching for her forever home—and she needs a special family or individual who can offer her patience, love, and the right feline friend to help her come out of her shell.

DR LEELA DEVI’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. Rescued off the streets of San Jacinto, California, along with her brother, she’s still learning to trust people. Though she’s extremely shy, DR LEELA DEVI has already made tremendous progress since being rescued. With time, space, and the right environment, she’s becoming more comfortable and is starting to show her true personality.

This lovely lady may be timid, but she’s also incredibly sweet at her core. She needs a home where she can feel secure and where her gentle nature is nurtured. DR LEELA DEVI will do best with a young, friendly feline friend who can show her the ropes and help her navigate the world with a little more confidence. With the right companion, we know she’ll blossom into a loving and affectionate member of the family.

While DR LEELA DEVI might take time to warm up to new people, she is definitely better than when she first arrived. Her trust is growing, and with your patience and understanding, she’ll continue to improve. You’ll see the sparkle in her eyes as she learns to feel safe and loved, and she’ll reward you with quiet companionship and affection when she’s ready.

Adoption Requirements:

-A young, friendly cat to help guide DR LEELA DEVI and teach her the ropes.

-A patient, understanding family or individual who will allow her to take her time adjusting to her new home.

-A quiet, safe environment where DR LEELA DEVI can feel secure and continue to grow at her own pace.

DR LEELA DEVI may be shy, but with the right support, she will become a cherished companion. If you’re ready to give this sweet, shy girl the time and care she needs, you’ll find she has a heart full of love to share once she’s ready.

If you’re ready to give DR LEELA DEVI the safe, loving home she deserves, you’ll be gaining a loyal, playful, and curious companion who will be forever grateful for your kindness.

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

DR LEELA DEVI is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Spayed
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!
