Boujee is a 4-year-old, 65-pound black Lab mix with a brand-new name and a brand-new life, because let’s be honest… his future is a whole lot more boujee than his past.
Boujee didn’t start out with the kind of life every dog deserves. He spent part of his early years confined to a pen. When he escaped looking for attention, his owner put him on a chain. When he escaped the chain, he was locked inside an old car.
We rescued Boujee from that car on a night when the temperature dropped to -40 degrees. Boujee was living less than three miles from our rescue. He was painfully thin and every rib was showing. Boujee had never been to a veterinarian. He had never been truly cared for. Boujee had only ever been trying to do one thing: find someone who would notice him and love him.
Now, Boujee is finally getting the life he always deserved. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped, and he’s discovering what it means to be safe and loved.
Boujee is a social, happy boy who:
🐶 Loves people
🐾 Does great with other dogs
🎾 Enjoys playing and being part of the fun
🏡 Is housetrained and not destructive
Boujee does have one feature that cannot be ignored… this boy has springs for legs. He jumps when he’s excited, and for that reason he requires a physically fenced yard with a 6-foot fence.
Boujee is still learning the skills of being a family dog, and he will thrive with someone willing to invest a little time in training and structure. What you’ll get in return is a loyal, joyful companion who has been waiting his whole life to belong.
Boujee escaped everything that tried to hold him back… and now he’s ready to run straight into a forever home.
