My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Truffles is a 2.5 year old male Abyssinian guinea pig who is technically an albino even though he has some light tan in his coat.  He is currently a single guy but we think he is lonely and we would love to find him a piggie friend.  And the best part, he is fixed, so it can be any friend.  He was surrendered to animal control because of allergies in the home and he does have a slight head tilt.  The doctor says that while it is most likely permanent he is healthy, could have been a previous injury or ear infection but it is not anything harmful to him and he seems to get by just fine.  This sweet boy is so calm and friendly.  He loves to snuggle up with the kids and does fine with the other animals in his foster home as well.

His adoption fee is $35

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
