Alfredo is a 7-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing in at about 50 lbs — and yes, he is still very much a puppy. Long legs, big feelings, and the happiest little bunny hops you’ve ever seen when he gets excited.
Alfredo is what we lovingly call a dog’s dog. He absolutely enjoys being around his people, but his confidence really shines when he has a canine best friend by his side. Another playful, confident dog in the home is required for him to truly thrive.
The Good Stuff:
🐶 Great with dogs of all sizes
🚪 House trained & dog-door trained (does wonderful with it!)
💤 Crate trained (prefers not to be crated alone at night) he loves to know that everyone is there
🦴 Loves toys and chew bones
🦮 Does well on leash
🔇 Not very barky
Alfredo found himself as a stray and then in a shelter, so he’s still learning that the world is safe and kind. He’s super playful and curious, but there’s still a touch of shyness there. He will gently “pet you back,” but he can be bashful about receiving affection at first. He just needs patience, understanding, and a little time to settle in.
This is not a ready-made, confident social butterfly. This is a sensitive young dog who will absolutely flourish in the right environment. With consistency and a steady canine buddy, he is going to grow into an incredible companion.
Another dog required. No small children.

🐾 Adoption Info:
All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.
Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following:
All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation.
All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations.
All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention.
Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
