Are you ready to meet the sweetest old beagle in all the land? Feast your eyes on Harley! He’s an 8-year-old beagle mix who found himself in a shelter after his owner could no longer care for him. Harley is a big fan of people and an even bigger fan of cuddling and belly rubs. He’s a sweet and quiet gentleman. He’s house trained and crate trained, and he enjoys the company of other dogs. Harley bonds quickly to his person. He’s hoping to find a life-long best friend to love, and a quiet place to take naps. Harley is available for adoption now.

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
