My name is Ginny Weasley!

Just like her namesake from the wizarding world, Ginny the cat is full of personality. With her beautiful coat of fur resembling the fiery red hair of Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter, she has a presence that is impossible to ignore. But what makes her truly unique is her distinct preferences.

One of the most endearing traits of Ginny Weasley is her love for being petted. Whether it's a gentle stroke on her back or a scratch behind her ears, Ginny thrives on affection. While she enjoys the occasional petting and attention, she prefers to keep her feet firmly on the ground. Holding her is a no-go; she’ll wriggle out of your arms faster than you can say "Accio". This quirky preference makes Ginny a unique addition to any household, as she teaches us the importance of respecting personal boundaries – even in the feline world.

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background. 

***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.***

For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted.

Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call. 

We are currently unable to adopt pets to MA and RI residents.
