Meet Dusty — The Curious Foodie with a Heart of Gold
Dusty is a gentle, affectionate sweetheart with a curious spirit and a very enthusiastic love of food. He’s the kind of boy who will happily follow you from room to room just to see what you’re up to. Cooking? Cleaning? Folding laundry? Dusty is supervising. He simply loves being involved in his humans’ lives.
Because Dusty has had gut issues in the past and tends to put everything in his mouth, his future adopter will need to be mindful about keeping floors and counters clear of anything unsafe. Poisonous plants or small objects that could be swallowed should be removed from his environment to keep him healthy and safe.
Dusty is living with his best friend Tiger and the two would be thrilled to be adopted together. These two are incredibly close and often play and sleep side by side. Tiger’s easygoing nature helps Dusty feel safe, and together they make the perfect balanced pair. If he must be seperated from Tiger, Dusty would likely adjust as long as he has a home with other kitty friends and plenty of human attention. He would do well in either an active or calm home and would probably get along with other animal friends and/or respectful children. He’s easygoing and gentle, though we don’t know if he’s been around very young kids.
This adorable grey tabby cat is active and playful, especially with his best (orange) friend, Tiger. He loves chasing wads of paper, springs, string toys, and toy mice. He can even hop over a pet fence just to see where you went — not because he’s naughty, just because he’s curious! Dusty isn’t destructive at all; he just likes to stay in the loop.
He is a total foodie — a true chow hound! Give him a treat and he’ll be your best friend forever. He even tries to “help” prepare his meals, which is as funny as it is adorable. When he’s getting face rubs, his loud purr lets you know just how happy he is. Dusty is a huge sweetheart who loves being petted and adored.
More than anything, Dusty just needs plenty of love to thrive. With his affectionate personality, playful energy, and devotion to friendship (like with Tiger), he’s ready to fill his forever home with purrs, curiosity, and lots of joyful mealtime “assistance.”
