It breaks my heart to rehome my 9-year-old purebred Newfoundland due to major life changes. He’s the sweetest, calmest, most affectionate “dry-mouth” Newfie—great with all people and dogs, and happiest lounging near his humans.
He has hip dysplasia and limited mobility (had ACL surgery at age 3), so he needs a calm, single-level home familiar with senior or large-breed dogs. He loves companionship more than activity and spends most of the day resting.
I’m rehoming him due to a divorce, layoffs, and needing to move into housing that can’t accommodate a giant breed. He deserves more stability and care than I can currently provide.
