My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mo was found with his brother in a creek bed where someone had left them. A Good Samaritan took them in and is keeping them safe and warm until they find their forever homes. Mo is a bit shy after his traumatic experience but the foster family is treating him with tons of love and he is warming up. He's very loving and seeks attention and companionship, but is reluctant still to be held. Mo is also very vocal. He chatters when you call him and asks to be pet. If you are interested in meeting Mo, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and text 775-846-3773. Mo will not be available until he is neutered, vaccinated and chipped which will likely be March.February 18, 2026, 12:31 pm

Go meet their pets

We have a network of foster homes where the animals reside while waiting for adoption. Our website is kept updated with adoptable animals. We are building a sanctuary which will house adoptable animals and permanent residents.

On occasion we do adoptions at various locations. Check our website or Facebook for details.
