Hi… I’m Driftwood
I know I don’t stand out right away. When people walk by, I usually stay tucked in my safe spot, watching quietly. It’s not that I don’t want attention — I’m just a naturally shy, nervous girl who needs time to feel secure.
I do best with patient people who understand that trust isn’t instant for every animal. I warm up slowly, but once I feel safe, I start to relax, explore, and show my softer side.
If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in helping a shy cat feel brave, I think we could be a perfect match.

We are located at 3 Arrow Avenue in Cody Wyoming. Our adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from noon-5:00. We have amazing dogs and cats!

More about this shelter

We are a small animal shelter located in the heart of the old west, Cody Wyoming. The majority of our funding comes from an amazing community of animal lovers who give whenever they can to help the many homeless pets in Park County. We currently have the facilities to care for as many as 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and we are not affiliated with any political action organizations.
