Meet Lacy:
Lacy is a sweet, playful girl with a big love for cuddles. She enjoys being close to her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. She’s doing great with housetraining, she’s learning and making great progress with consistency and patience. She’s good on a leash but still a little nervous about her surroundings. As long as you keep her focused on you, she does great. She’s crate-trained and does well when we leave home. Lacy is full of love and just needs a family willing to continue guiding her as she grows into the amazing companion she’s meant to be.

We do not transport dogs. All dogs must be picked up from Northern VA in person by the adopter.

More about this rescue

Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue, established in 2013, is an all volunteer 501c(3) dog rescue funded by your donations. We rescue companion and senior dogs, at risk for euthanasia, from overcrowded shelters and provide them with the medical attention they need. We also redone dogs for owners who can no longer care for them. We do not have a facility so all of our dogs live in foster homes through out the Northern Virginia area until their adoption day. We are proud that we find them perfectly matched forever homes and families. We rescue and find permanent homes for approximately 250 dogs a year.
