My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zach – A Sweet Senior Gentleman Looking for His Promise Kept

Zach is almost 12 years old and every bit the distinguished gentleman. With his soft fur and loving eyes, he’s the kind of cat who just wants to be near his person — soaking up attention, enjoying gentle brushing sessions, and quietly keeping you company.

Zach came to us from his devoted mom living in an assisted living facility and could no longer care for him. She loved him dearly, and we made a promise to her that we would find him a wonderful new home to spend his golden years. Now we’re hoping someone special will help us keep that promise.

Zach is diabetic, but his condition is very easily managed — his medication is simply given in his food. He has had full bloodwork and has gone through weeks of careful monitoring to ensure he is well regulated and feeling his best. He’s stable, comfortable, and ready for his next chapter.

What Zach needs now isn’t complicated medical care — it’s love. A cozy bed. A sunny window. A kind hand to brush him. A forever home where he can spend his senior years exactly as he deserves: safe, cherished, and content. If you have room in your heart for a gentle, loving older boy, Zach is waiting to meet you. Help us keep our promise to his mom.
