Drake is a 6-month-old sweetheart with a story of resilience. Originally rescued from Texas, he made his way to Rhode Island as a very sick little puppy. Thanks to lots of love and care, he’s grown into a bright, affectionate boy who’s ready to find his forever family.
Drake is still learning that the world is a safe and happy place. Because of his early start in life, he needs a home that will give him the time, patience, and gentle guidance he needs to truly thrive. Once he feels secure, his playful and loving personality shines through.
He would do best in a calm, predictable home with another confident dog to show him the ropes—he takes great comfort in canine companionship. Drake is not suited for a home with small children, as he struggled in a busier household before and feels most comfortable in a quieter environment.
