He is a loyal and affectionate companion to those he trusts, and he is looking for an experienced and patient owner who can help him navigate the world with confidence. Bentley came into my life as a 9-month-old puppy received from another family giving him away. The family bred pitbulls and bully's so they stated they had too many dogs in one home. Unfortunately, he has developed some behavioral challenges, including high reactivity towards other dogs and unfamiliar people. This means he can become overwhelmed and react with aggression in these situations. We have worked hard together, but it has become clear he needs a home with someone who has the specific experience and training that can better handle the aggressive behavior Bentley can sometimes display.
