My name is Jinksy!

Jinksy came into my life as a stray kitten March 2020. She was found by a neighbor finding refuge under our front porch having ran away from her litter of kittens. I was smitten immediately and also incredibly lonely with the start of the pandemic. Never having a cat before , I decided to adopt Jinksy as my own. She was such an amazing companion during those lonely months. Since then I have gotten married, pregnant, and have a baby of my own. Jinksy isn’t getting the attention she deserves with the new baby and I want her to find an owner who can give her what she needs. She likes both closeness and distance. She’s highly independent but also social. She can be fun and feisty and as long as she gets adequate attention she is an amazing companion. She prefers to come to you; meaning give her her space and she’ll close the remaining distance. She’ll let you know when she needs space and will take it! It will be very hard to let go of her but I know she needs a new person.
