My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brickie is a bright, happy pup with the sweetest little personality. She loves to play, but she’s not quite as rough-and-tumble as some of her siblings — she’s more of the perfect balance between fun and chill. One of her absolute favorite things is spending time outside, whether she’s lounging in the sun, relaxing in the shade, or happily hanging out with her Bernedoodle buddy. She’s an observer at heart, always taking in the world around her, but she’s never boring — this girl is full of quiet charm and curiosity.

Brickie is also a big fan of affection and happily soaks up kisses and attention from her people. She enjoys outdoor time so much that she’ll play, nap, and just relax outside for up to an hour at a time, and she’s already learning to come in when called or when she hears the back door open. Like her siblings, she gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, kids, and adults, making her a very social little pup.

She’s still working on potty training, but she’s making great progress every day. With a little consistency and lots of love, Brickie is going to grow into an absolutely wonderful companion.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
