My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sample!

Joined us in: January 2026

About Sample:
• So sweet we call her SUGAR — a gentle, affectionate girl at heart.
• Loves being pet, especially under her chin and near her tail.
• Big fan of string toys, small stuffies, and creamy treats.
• Very timid and still building confidence — often hiding but becoming braver each day.
• Not a fan of strangers, being lifted high, or being held for long periods.

Her perfect match:
• A quiet, low-traffic home to help her continue gaining confidence.
• Patient adopters who understand that trust takes time.
• May do well with another cat (has been handling a young, dominant male nicely).
• Dogs and children are currently unknown.

Some extra things to know:
• Will likely need at least a month to settle into a calm home — longer in a busy environment.
• Making small but meaningful progress with being held and accepting affection.
• Excellent litterbox manners (currently using paper litter very well!).
• Thrives with gentle encouragement and predictable routines.

In short:
Sample is a tender-hearted, shy girl with a sugary-sweet personality. Give her time, patience, and a peaceful space to grow, and she’ll reward you with soft head nudges and quiet companionship.
