My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Starry — a handsome long-haired black cat with a gentle soul and the softest, fluffiest coat. This sweet boy has never shown any signs of aggression; he’s simply a quiet, sensitive guy who prefers to take life at his own pace.

Starry feels safest tucked inside his cozy hide-a-bed, where he can observe the world and relax in comfort. Once he knows he’s secure, his calm and loving nature really shines. He isn’t the type to demand attention, but he deeply appreciates gentle pets and a peaceful environment.

He would do best in a quiet home where he can settle in slowly and build trust on his own timeline. With patience and understanding, Starry will reward you with quiet companionship and soft, steady purrs.

If you have a calm household and a kind heart, Starry may be the perfect addition to your home.

Adoption Fees & Process
See current fees at www.yakimahumane.org
The adoption fees help offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals that need our help. We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home.
