Elfie was born around 12/1/22 (estimated). She was abandoned at approximately four weeks of age and was extremely small and fragile when we rescued her. She is very healthy, current on all shots, front declawed, weights 14 lbs. with a very sweet and loving personality.
We currently have 4 older rescue cats (ages 5–15) and 3 Golden Retrievers, she adores our dogs! But by no fault of her own, she has never been fully accepted by our other cats who peacefully coexist together.
Over several months, the situation has escalated from avoidance and rejection to bullying. We have tried everything pheromone diffusers/collars, reintroductions, bonding attempts, and having them all examined by our vet with comprehensive lab work, to rule out any underlying medical cause for the behavior. Due to the increasing aggression targeting Elfie and concern for her well being, we have made the difficult decision to rehome her to a family where she can feel safe and thrive as a loving companion.
