My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Slade!

This little gray cutie is gonna melt hearts with a purr bigger than his microscopic mew. He's come a long way from the Hazelwood train tracks; in his first two weeks inside, he went from hiding in the shadows to springing up and following you around for pets when you walk in the room. He's super food motivated, so I'm convinced he would let literally anything happen to him if given a Churu. He absolutely loves his head scratched, pet, held, whatever. He'll likely flop over and show you his upside-down teefs. He loves playing with feather toys too! While we're still learning about his preferences, he seems to greatly enjoy the company of other cats and would most likely thrive in an environment where he's not the only cat.

Slade is about 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and tested FIV/FeLV negative. He is available at the Waterfront (Homestead) Petco Adoption Center.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
