My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon is as sweet as his name! This handsome boy is a total social butterfly who truly doesn’t know a stranger. Whether you’re a longtime friend or someone he’s just met, Cinnamon is ready to say hello and soak up the attention. He’s wonderfully chill and gets along great with other cats, making him a perfect addition to a multi-cat home. Cinnamon is also a world-class cuddle bug — he loves being held, happily melts into your arms, and is a dedicated lap cat. The moment he settles in, his purr motor switches on full blast… he’s a true purr machine! Playtime is just as important as snuggle time. Cinnamon adores his toys and will happily bat, chase, and pounce before curling up for his next cuddle session. If you’re looking for an affectionate, easygoing companion who will greet everyone like a best friend and keep your lap warm, Cinnamon is your guy.

Cinnamon tested positive for FIV, but can live a normal, healthy life. According to the Humane Society of the US, "Cats with FIV often have similar life spans to cats without it: Studies conducted in 2010 and 2022 found that an FIV diagnosis wasn’t associated with decreased lifespans. In fact, cats can remain asymptomatic for years or even their entire lives." Read more about FIV: https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats

Adoption fee: $200 (Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, and FeLV/FIV test - over $450 worth of veterinary care!)
Go to www.ColumbusPetRescue.com to begin the adoption process today. We have invested time, money, and care into our feline friends and want to ensure they never have to be abandoned again. Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new cat, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet. (All cats will be spayed or neutered before going to their new home.) E-mail your application to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com today!
We only adopt within the state of Ohio.
