Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gizmo
Hi there. I’m Gizmo. Yes, like a tiny gadget… except I run on purr power and chin scratches.
I’m a 2-year-old neutered male DMH with a very respectable floof situation. Not over the top. Just enough fluff to look distinguished while I supervise your daily activities from the couch arm like the gentle manager I am.
I grew up around both dogs and cats, so I speak fluent “woof” and “meow.” Big dog strolling by? No problem. Fellow feline doing zoomies at 2 AM? I’ve seen it all. I’m the social type who understands that a home can be a beautifully chaotic orchestra, and I’m happy to be part of the harmony.
At two years old, I’ve outgrown the wild kitten tornado phase, but I still enjoy a good toy chase or feather wand duel. Mostly though, I specialize in companionship. I’ll hang out while you work, curl up near you in the evenings, and remind you that life is better with a soft purring soundtrack.
Gizmo is ready for a home where he can settle in, share his calm confidence, and be someone’s steady, sweet sidekick.
If you’re looking for a friendly, dog-savvy, cat-approved gentleman with just the right amount of fluff, I’m your guy.
This cat is available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this cat's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. The adoption fee is $35 and you receive certificates for $25 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies if not already done.
