My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Irene!

This sweet, calm girl has the most adorable little heart on her nose — and a heart to match. Irene came to the shelter when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her, and she’s been quietly waiting for a loving home ever since.

She’s incredibly affectionate and truly thrives on one-on-one attention. Irene clearly misses the special bond she once had and would love nothing more than to be someone’s cherished companion again.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving friend to share quiet moments and lots of affection, Irene may be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
