Twizzler’s story began in the most unsafe place — a storm drain beside a busy highway, where this tiny orange kitten fought to survive within his colony. Just before the Texas ice storm rolled in, he made his way to safety, bringing with him a brave spirit and a heart full of potential.
When he first arrived, Twizzler was very scared and unsure of people, but week by week he has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate boy.
Now, he greets his trusted humans with loud purrs, leans into belly rubs, and shows just how much love was waiting beneath his fear.
With his soulful orange eyes, and regal habit of perching up high to watch the world below, Twizzler carries himself like a tiny king. He loves to observe, to feel safe, and then to shower you with affection once he knows he belongs.
At about 3 months old, Twizzler is looking for a patient, loving home where his little lion heart can continue to grow. He’ll thrive with a family who understands that the most special bonds are built with time and trust.
He is vetted, has excellent litter manners, and does great with other cats. He may be able to adjust to a calmer dog given proper slow intros.
