My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guy is a smart, active boy who loves getting outside, going on walks, and enjoying care rides. However, he is sensitive to fast movements, and he can become overwhelmed when energy levels get high. We’re looking for a behavior foster placement to see how he settles into a home environment and help us learn more about what support he needs to succeed.

Reason for Foster: Behavior; Shelter decompression

Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks

Foster Care Plan: Guy does best when things stay calm, predictable, and steady. He’s kennel trained, potty trained, and knows cues like stay and sit. He may be wary of some new people and tends to feel more comfortable with women, so slow introductions and patience go a long way with him. In playgroups, Guy’s shown some interest in other dogs but prefers exploring and rolling around over rowdy play. He would thrive in a quiet foster home, ideally with no young children, where he can decompress and build trust at his own pace. Our Behavior Team will be available for consult at the time of pick up so that you feel confident in caring for this special kiddo.
