Smokey is currently overweight and has urinary crystals, so he will need to stay on a specialized veterinary diet to help him slim down and keep his urinary tract healthy. With proper nutrition and a little encouragement to stay active, he has every chance to thrive. His future family should be committed to maintaining his diet and working with their veterinarian to ensure he stays happy and healthy.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
