This helps Cody's Friends Rescue with pet care costs.
This is a dark, sad story. We want to give him a bright, happy life. Meet Prosper, a Beagle mix. His name is Prosper , we were told he's a beagle/ dachshund mix between a year old. WeHe was taken in from his owner suddenly decided she urgently needed to rehome him because she felt her methods of discipline were now abusive. She openly admitted she abused him! Prosper has anxiety when being left in a crate without knowing he will be let out again because she would leave him in a crate for quite a few days without food nor water. No one let him out. Usually, 4 days in a row as she was working in Houston and working 3 day shifts and driving back to Dallas and going straight to work again. So poor Prosper had to live in his own filth like this!! She also admitted to trying to beat "undesirable" behavior out of him . Really??? The temp person who took him in says, "Prosper walks well on a leash, listens and is eager to please. He's snuggly and just wants love. He's a very good and smart boy." Sounds like this owner just didn't want him and made up lies about him. The person who took him in is having brain surgery and needs to find sweet Prosper a place. We want to too! He is so deserving of love, honesty and kindness. Want to open you heart and home to Prosper? We are waiting on his weight but he looks 20 to 25 lbs. Applications to foster or adopt this sweet boy are at codysfriendsrescue.org FOR A NEW ARRIVA
