Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mushu, a small but mighty gentleman with a thoughtful soul. This adorable boy arrived at the shelter as a stray. Despite our efforts to locate his family, no one came forward, and now Mushu is ready to begin a new chapter.
Mushu is sweet, observant, and independent at times. He appreciates a calm, predictable environment and is looking for a quiet home where he can simply exist and feel secure. While he has enjoyed being around other small dogs, he has shown little interest in play and prefers peaceful companionship over chaos.
Mushu takes a little time to warm up to new people and does not enjoy being rushed or handled before he’s ready. With kind, patient adults, he blossoms—often surprising you by hopping gently into your lap once you’ve earned his trust. For this reason, an adult-only home would be ideal, though he may do well with respectful older teens.
Regular walks will keep him happy, and professional grooming will be required to maintain his coat and prevent matting. Mushu is looking for a home that understands quiet loyalty and gentle companionship.
If you are interested in adopting Mushu, have read his bio carefully and understand he is more than just a pretty face - please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4 pm. If you are unable to come during those hours, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what times may be available by appointment.
